Dessert with friends at The Cake Club, Bonifacio High Street.
Ispahan, Cecilia, Le Royal, Baked Cheesecake, and Vanessa
It’s my new favorite dessert place. They have a wide variety of miniature and whole cakes to choose from.
Mini Baked Cheesecaked, P250
They serve an excellent Baked Cheesecake.
Baked Cheesecake Ice Cream, P150/2 scoops
Which I loved even more in ice cream form. Baked Cheesecake Ice Cream is the bomb!! Next time, I’m ordering a whole pint for myself.
Supermoist Chocolate Cake, P1500/whole
The Supermoist Chocolate Cake is supposed to be good too.
Supermoist Chocolate Cake Ice Cream, P150/2 scoops
Roland ordered the Supermoist Chocolate Cake Ice Cream which was filled with chunks of cake. Highly recommended!
Vanessa, P250
Vanessa ordered the Vanessa, a mini cake offresh strawberries and cream sandwiched between two giant pistachio macarons.
Apple Pie Ice Cream, P150/2 scoops
Rang tried the Apple Pie Ice Cream, which she didn’t like that much, and Dickie said he enjoyed his Adzuki Ice Cream.
They also serve Malonggo coffee for coffee monsters like my husband.
Rang, Me, Van
I was surprised to see that The Cake Club also serves burgers, pasta, and other dishes. Chef Ed Bugia of Pino and Chef Him Uy de Baron of Nomama were seated together at the table next to us, and they seemed to be lingering over their meal. Must try ordering from the non-dessert menu next time!
