On my way to my brother’s graduation.

This is the same school I went to. I’d forgotten how beautiful the university grounds are. Ateneo, you are gorgeous.

Oh, hello! I remember you!
Tree-lined streets and lots of open space.
Lots of new buildings too.
Tricycles at every other corner. This is how we got ourselves to restaurants off-campus, and once to the neighborhood manghuhula to have our fortunes told.
Ateneans love soccer.
The invitation said 4 pm, and I got there 10 minutes past 4.
The graduation was held at the high school covered courts and the place was packed. This is only half the graduating class, and the rest of the batch had their ceremonies the following day.
Standing room only, and there were friends and relatives seated even outside the fenced area.
My brother’s name on the graduation programme.

Our family had dinner at Sugi to celebrate.
Congratulations bro! We are proud of you!
